“Set in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside, Great Glen Crematorium provides a calm and tranquil setting to hold a dignified funeral service.
Opened in 2017, the modern, state-of-the-art facility is located on the London Road, south of the village to serve residents locally and in the surrounding boroughs.
Great Glen aims to provide an exemplary level of service within thirty acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and gardens.
The spacious Crematorium is built in the local rural style and has been designed to blend into the surrounding countryside. The peaceful Garden of Remembrance provides a variety of choices for commemorating loved ones”.
The Westerleigh Group manages approximately 41 crematoria around the UK located from Scotland to Cornwall and has cared for around 71,000 funerals.
Arrangements have been made for members and their guests to visit a local temple, receive a tour of the crematorium, and hear from a local Hindu Priest.
The regional meeting will take place at the crematorium, and we look forward to receiving topics to include on the agenda for the usual sharing of experiences and future ideas for all to ponder over, until we meet again.
