Funeral Director Code of Practice: letter from the Minister for Public Health & Women’s Health
The Scottish Government is pleased to confirm that the Funeral Director Code of Practice (‘the Code’) received parliamentary approval on 31 January 2024. The approved Code of Practice is now available on the Scottish Government’s website.
The Minister for Public Health & Women’s Health, Jenni Minto MSP, has written to funeral directors in Scotland to inform them of the Code’s approval and the intended date the Code will be issued and brought into force by Scottish Ministers.
