Scottish COVID Inquiry

Calling all Scottish ICCM Members:
As part of the ongoing Scottish COVID-19 Inquiry into worship and life events and our ongoing commitment to ensuring its members are heard, the ICCM have arranged to provide a Witness Statement on behalf of all Scottish members in order to assist in providing the Inquiry with the real-life, lived experiences of those who were tasked with ensuring funeral services continued throughout the pandemic and beyond.
Whilst ICCM Officers will recall providing assistance to our members during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are conscious that this is your statement. We would therefore welcome as many contributions as possible from our Scottish membership so that we can ensure as many of our members’ views are captured as possible, to provide a collective statement that is person-centred and reflective of the many challenges faced, often in the most challenging of circumstances.
You will therefore find the following link that provides a number of questions that we would welcome members’ responses on by 5pm, on the 27th of May, so that we are able to provide the most meaningful, collaborative statement on your behalf. Please forward all comments and queries to mathew.crawley@iccm-uk.com.
Thank you in advance for your contributions regarding this consultation, as we hope that by sharing our collective experiences, we can provide a stronger voice moving forward.
Mathew Crawley
Chief Executive, ICCM
