Last week at the ICCM Learning Conference, we were privileged to welcome Clea Harmer, Chief Executive of Sands – baby loss charity, who reminded us that BabyLossAwarenessWeek is a time not only for remembrance, but also for raising awareness and encouraging change.
As an organisation, we stand alongside bereaved families and recognise the vital role our members play in supporting those affected by pregnancy and baby loss. The impact of such loss is profound, and the care, sensitivity, and professionalism shown by cemetery and crematorium staff can make a lasting difference.
Next Wednesday at 7pm, we will be joining the Global Wave of Light, a moment to pause, reflect, and remember every baby who has died too soon.
