Resource for Members: Inter-Faith ‘Faith Card’ Guidance
We are pleased to share a new resource that may be of interest and benefit to cemetery and crematorium staff.
Through the ICCM’s ongoing collaboration with the Churches Funerals Group, the Suffolk Inter-Faith Resource has developed a ‘Faith Card’. This guidance highlights some of the most regular and commonly observed aspects of death and dying practices across a range of faiths represented throughout the UK.
While this resource is provided for guidance only, it may be particularly helpful for members who are less familiar with certain religious beliefs or cultural requirements, supporting respectful and informed practice when working with bereaved families and communities.
