We are delighted to announce the formation of a new ICCM South Wales Branch.
Following positive consultation with the existing Continuous Improvement Form group, which has operated in the area for a significant number of years, this marks an exciting new chapter for cemetery and crematorium professionals across South Wales. The branch will continue to provide a dedicated platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across Wales.
The inaugural meeting will take place using Microsoft Teams on Friday 21st November 2025 and will commence at 10.00 am which is open to all ICCM members.
We hope that you can support the new branch and if you would like to attend please contact Mike Headington headim@caerphilly.gov.uk or Carmel Thomas carmel.thomas@cardiff.gov.uk
Are you interested in becoming a Branch Secretary?
Following on from the success of the newly formed Scottish & Northern Ireland branch and South Wales branch, we are looking for new branch secretaries to help coordinate ICCM branch meetings and support 2 regions which are currently vacant – the South West Region and Yorkshire.
This is a voluntary position that will help bring together ICCM members in your area, providing a fantastic opportunity for you and your colleagues to network, stay informed and build connections.
These meetings are a relaxed space to chat with others in the sector, share ideas, ask questions, and learn what’s working (and what’s not!) in your area and a chance to visit different venues.
If you’re organised, enjoy bringing people together, and want to play a more active role in the ICCM’s future successes, we’d love to hear from you!
If you are interested and would like some further information, please drop me an email sofia.allana@iccm-uk.com or call me for a chat on 07502 627521.
