An update on the work of the Environmental Learning Support Group (ELSG)<\/p>\n
Back in late March 2025, the ICCM partnered with the Darwin Centre for Sustainable Bereavement to ask if members would like to be part of a new group focused on best practice, sustainability, and the environment in our workplaces. Thanks to your support, we now have nine passionate cemetery and crematoria operators from both the public and private sectors working together, sharing their insights, and helping us all move forward in our environmental commitments.<\/p>\n
In May, we also ran a survey to hear directly from you about your priorities, concerns, and innovations. Your feedback was invaluable. It gave us a clearer sense of where to focus and highlighted an important point: while members can often identify areas for improvement, putting those ideas into practice can feel challenging.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s why I want to say two things today:<\/p>\n
Finally, we\u2019d also like to introduce you to the members of the ELSG. Each has shared a short biography and their particular areas of interest, so you can get to know the people helping shape this important work.<\/p>\n
