We are delighted to introduce our newly appointed Branch Secretaries for the North Wales and North West and Northern regions, who have kindly volunteered to support members across their respective regional branches.<\/p>\n
Rebecca Patton, from Warrington Borough Council, has taken over as Branch Secretary for the North Wales and North West region, following the tenure of Dave Jennings. Rebecca has already held her first regional meeting and is looking forward to supporting members across the region.<\/p>\n
Nicky Raine, from Middlesbrough Council, will be taking on the role of Branch Secretary for the Northern region, following Graham Harrison\u2019s tenure. We would like to congratulate Rebecca and Nicky on their appointments and thank them for volunteering their time and expertise to support our members.<\/p>\n
Branch Secretaries play a vital role in helping members stay connected. They organise regional meetings, encourage the sharing of knowledge and best practice, and provide valuable opportunities for networking with colleagues working across the bereavement sector.<\/p>\n
Regional meetings also give members the opportunity to discuss current issues, hear from guest speakers, and share experiences with others who may be facing similar challenges in their work.<\/p>\n
Our aim is to strengthen regional engagement and ensure that members have regular opportunities to meet, learn and support one another closer to home. We look forward to seeing these regional branches continue to grow and provide valuable support to members.<\/p>\n

Your Branch Secretary will be working with the ICCM to arrange local meetings and will be keen to hear your ideas for topics, speakers, and venues.<\/p>\n Branch meetings are typically held twice a year, and members are welcome to attend meetings hosted by any branch, not just their own. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, build connections across different regions, and enjoy visiting a variety of venues.<\/p>\n We would like to thank all our Branch Secretaries for volunteering their time and enthusiasm to support fellow members.
