CEMETERY OPERATIVES TRAINING SCHEME<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n

The ICCM recognises that trained cemetery operatives and managers are vital to the provision of an efficient, effective and safe service to the bereaved.<\/p>\r\n

The Institute is a City & Guilds NPTC training centre that delivers and certificates gravedigging courses to this nationally recognised standard.<\/p>\r\n

<\/p>\r\n

<\/p>\r\n

<\/p>\r\n

Health and Safety law places a positive duty upon burial authorities to provide a safe workplace and safe systems of work that will protect the health & safety of employees, persons attending and officiating at funerals, visitors and any other person that may use a cemetery.<\/p>\r\n

<\/p>\r\n

<\/p>\r\n

The Scheme has been designed by the Institute to train, assess and certificate operatives in safe working practice and to encourage a process of thought that will assist with accident prevention. All COTS training can take place on your site.<\/p>\r\n
