Scottish Government Update to Funeral Services Guidance – Singing, 2nd June 2021

The Scottish Government has updated its Guidance for Funeral Services with respect to singing.

Those organising a funeral service should consider using music recordings that may be available to them. However, communal singing involving those attending the funeral service can take place at levels 0-1. A risk assessment should be carried out to consider any mitigating measures that may be put in place.

For more information please see the full guidance.

As ever, thank you for playing an important part in implementing these changes and in communicating these key messages to families you work with.
