Following the placing of some parts of England into Tier 4, there has been an amendment to the number of people who can attend an event linked to a funeral. The following is taken from the UK Gov website:
‘Funerals can be attended by a maximum of 30 people. Linked religious, belief-based or commemorative events, such as stone settings and ash scatterings can also continue with up to 6 people in attendance. Anyone working is not counted in these limits. Social distancing should be maintained between people who do not live together or share a support bubble.’
There has been no change to the number of attendees at funeral, but the number of attendees at a linked post-funeral event has been reduced from 15 to 6.
